Earlier this year, Subaru launched a campaign “Meet the Barkleys” in North America. Believe it or not, the Barkleys are not humans, but are dogs. Through a series of 30 second spots, the campaign takes you through the dramatic real life situations that the Subaru loving Barkleys go through.

Auggie
Father – Auggie is a 5-year-old purebred Golden Retriever from a little town in Canada. He rose to prominence starring in Hollywood movies and television shows and has many television commercials to his credit.
 
Stevie
Mother – Stevie is a 4-year-old purebred yellow Labrador Retriever who was rescued from an animal shelter in Pasadena, California. She started training a mere six months ago, and playing “Mom” for Subaru is her first big break.
 
Sadie
Daughter – Sadie is a purebred Golden Retriever from Moorpark, California, who was just adopted by a loving family. She is a growing pup at about six months old, and these are her first big TV commercials.
 
Sebastian
Son – Sebastian is a 12-week-old Golden Retriever from the same breeder as Sadie in Moorpark, California.

Once every 4 year, countries across the globe come together to fight for the prestigious FIFA trophy. But how  can the ad world stay behind? Brands capitalising on this mega soccer event, put their best foot forward to  woo their consumers with the best and most sticky campaigns. Let’s have a look at the ones which stood out  during FIFA 2014 (not in the order of ranking)


 1. Nike Football – Winner Stays

In this game of winner stays, every touch of the ball proves that football has and will always belong to those who Risk Everything, even when it matters the most.

Every country has its own Samba, its own joy, its own way of dancing with a football. And since every dance needs to be celebrated with a unique song, Visa invited musicians from each of the 32 qualified countries to reimagine the Brazilian favorite “Maria Caipirinha” (Samba da Bahia). Then they asked 32 filmmakers to show the world how their nation celebrates the FIFA World Cup.
The result is The Samba of the World, a spirited journey around the globe. Get to know each country’s wonderfully unique way of celebrating – including regional dance moves, food fans enjoy on match days, the type of gear they wear, even their country’s football rituals and history.

They also changed the look of the iconic red French fry packaging globally with bold, new artwork to celebrate the upcoming FIFA World Cup™ in Brasil. In addition, the new fry boxes will be the key to “unlocking” a new Augmented Reality (AR) app that will reward customers with an engaging, virtual trick-shot challenge.
